The Helpline

You can search for elder and disability services online, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. ↗Click here to Search for Resources online.

The Helpline is available Monday – Friday, 8AM – 5PM. The Helpline is the place to start for help if you are a senior, an adult living with a disability or a caregiver. We are an Aging and Disability Resource Center (ADRC). Our Helpline Specialists are trained to listen to your concerns and to help you access local agencies, services and programs. We will work with you to explain what resources are available, help you enroll in the programs for which you are eligible, and advocate on your behalf. Our goal is to help callers find the help they need and to live safely and independently as long as possible in their homes and community.

Helpline assistance is available within our five-county service area – Palm Beach, Martin, Okeechobee, St. Lucie and Indian River Counties.

Who Can Call the Helpline?

The Area Agency on Aging of Palm Beach/Treasure Coast Helpline is the starting point for finding aging, disability, and caregiver resources. These resources can be government funded, nonprofit services or even private pay options. Our goal is to help our community find the help needed to live safely and independently. Our staff can assist in English, Spanish, Creole, and can schedule translation services for over 250 languages.

Florida residents outside of our service area

If you live in Florida or are calling on behalf of a family member, friend, or loved one that resides in Florida, but you are outside of our five-county service area, you can visit the Department of Elder Affairs website to find the ADRC that serves your county.

Not a Florida Resident?

If you are calling from outside Florida and are looking for help for yourself, family member or loved one, contact the U.S. Administration on Aging’s Nationwide Eldercare Locator or 1-800-677-1116. They will be able to direct you to the appropriate local agency anywhere in the United States.
