Coordinated Aging Network
To accomplish its mission, the Area Agency oversees a coordinated aging network where it contracts with local service providers to deliver in-home, community-based services funded by State and Federal dollars. Providers are assigned to specific Community Care Service areas in Indian River, Martin, Okeechobee, Palm Beach and St. Lucie counties. Oversight of this service delivery system is provided by both the Area Agency on Aging of Palm Beach/Treasure Coast, Inc., and the Florida Department of Elder Affairs.
Aging Network Providers
The Area Agency on Aging of Palm Beach/Treasure Coast, Inc. contracts with six Lead Agencies and an additional four Local Service Providers to provide services to seniors, adults with disabilities and those who care for them. In addition to those services funded through the Area Agency on Aging, these providers offer additional programs and services through other funding sources
